Legend has it that on a dark night, a dazzling beam of light, emitted by a celestial being, descended on the Oban distillery. This vibrant and dynamic entity touched the firmament, spreading a violet glow across the sky and bathing the distillery in its otherworldly light. Matured in refill barrels and new American oak barrels, and subsequently refined in old Sherry and Amontillado barrels, this whiskey displays delicate aromas of sea salt and ocean breeze. Its creamy texture reveals sweet flavors of spiced plum cooked in wine, with a perfect balance of salinity and spices, ending with a spicy chili note.
