Oscar Mestre Renaix la Passió is a young white wine from Alicante produced by Bodegas Riko Xaló with 100% Moscatel de Alejandría grapes.
It is what we call the new profile of Alicante wine made with the Muscat variety.
It is a young dry wine from a plot (Toll del gos), which seeks the freshness of the Mediterranean in a dry viticulture and maximum respect.
The winemaking process begins in the field, selecting the grapes that are least toasted by the sun and therefore the freshest. In this way we obtain complex aromatic profiles, with the varietal profiles of the Muscatel also predominating.
The wine is made in small stainless steel tanks with minimal intervention and fermentation with indigenous yeasts. No fining or stabilisation is carried out.
Colour. Clean straw yellow colour, light rim with greenish reflections. Possibility of tartrates precipitates in the glass.
Nose. Complex and subtle aromas reminiscent of citrus, fennel, grapefruit, boxwood, with a predominance of Muscat varietal profiles.
Palate. In the mouth we find a fine and elegant wine, with a medium volume and long persistence with a pleasant bitter finish characteristic of the muscatel variety which complements it wonderfully.
Food pairing. It goes perfectly with typical traditional dishes such as paella, rock fish or exquisite red prawns from Denia.
Serving temperature: 9 - 11ºC
