The Outarelo Garnacha Red Wine is an artisanal wine produced by Bodegas Blare under the prestigious Denomination of Origin Valdeorras. This red wine is made from 100% Garnacha Tintorera, a variety that provides color, intensity, and structure, creating a wine that captivates even the most discerning palates.
The grapes come from Paraxe Vilanova and Outarelo, where centenary vines express the best of the Galician terroir. The manual harvest in 15 kg boxes ensures that the grapes arrive at the winery in perfect condition. Subsequently, a gentle destemming without crushing is performed, preserving the integrity of the fruit as much as possible. Fermentation takes place with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, to maintain the purity of the variety and the typicality of the area.
Aging is one of the strong points of this wine. The Outarelo Garnacha Red Wine spends 12 months in French oak barrels of 300 and 500 liters and then 12 months in bottle, achieving great aromatic complexity, balance, and elegance on the palate.
In the glass, it presents an intense red color, almost opaque, typical of Garnacha Tintorera. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe black fruit, sweet spices, balsamic notes, and hints of cocoa and toasted coffee. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, with fine, rounded tannins, well-integrated acidity, and a long, persistent finish that invites you to keep drinking.
