Bodegas La Torre began in the world of wine in 1940, seeing the constant increase of vineyards in the area, thanks to the great colonizing power of the vine compared to other crops, decided to build a winery on the outskirts of the municipality of Venta del Moro.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Mr. José María Latorre García, made his wines in two trullos, located on the streets Del Árbol and San Blas in Venta del Moro.
The vineyards, located in the municipal district of Venta del Moro, are at an altitude of between 670 and 850 meters above sea level, offering a continental climate with Mediterranean influence.
Currently, the company is led by the third generation, Luis Miquel Latorre as Manager-Oenologist and Luis Rafael Latorre as Manager-Administration, allowing this family business to combine experience and tradition with innovation and freshness. The fourth generation has recently joined the work in the company.
Vino Rosado Parreño is a smooth wine classified as one of the best rosé wines thanks to its personality and excellent flavor, it is made with the Bobal grape variety from 50-year-old vines located in the municipal district of Venta del Moro, therefore it presents all the characteristics linked to both this type of grape and the type of soil in the region.
Bobal is a variety of red grape, round, juicy and with a fresh aroma. The Rosado Parreño 2017 is awarded the silver medal in the rosé wine category at the Catavinum World Wine & Spirits Competition 2018.
