Perrier Jouët Grand Brut 375ml created to fulfill the desire to satisfy the English customers, the Chef de Caves decided to significantly reduce the amount of sugar in the cuvées and expose the finesse of their assemblies. Thus was born the first champagne Brut of history and the most taste of the world. Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut is a direct heir to this tradition.
Currently, Hervé Deschamps, the seventh Chef of Caves de la Maison, continues this incessant search for excellence and has endorsed the mission of perpetuating the heritage by recreating in each cuvée the Perrier-Jouët style, a perfect balance between charm and elegance. Within the creative artisan tradition of La Maison, the Chef de Caves joins each wine separately and in a single brushstroke, following the dictates of his intuition, which converts each cuvée into a unique work of art.
Perrier Jouët Grand Brut 375ml light yellow and luminous, reminiscent of its vivacity.
On the nose it is delicate, elegant and balanced. The surprising freshness and liveliness of the floral and fruity fragrances (yellow fruits and fresh fruits) starts to give way to subtle notes of vanilla and butter, giving the wine a fruity and consistent character.
In the beginning there are notes of plum, lemon and bergamot that give rise to the flowers of fruit trees, such as lime and honeysuckle. These are followed by the notes of butter, Magdalena and vanilla sugar. Persistent notes of grapefruit, white peaches, green pears, apple trees and green hazelnuts round off the tasting.
In the palate, amplitude and vivacity are balanced in the mouth and are prolonged in an expression of round and distinctive elegance.
