Protos Crianza 2018, made with 100% Tinta del Pais grapes, is an elegant and highly aromatic wine, one of the most desired wines by the great lovers of Ribera del Duero wines.
Protos can boast of having several wineries in different denominations. They are different in form but very similar in terms of substance: the pursuit of quality above all else.
Protos Crianza 2018 is a 100% Tinto fino varietal. Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks with temperature control ranging from 26-28ºC. The maceration lasts for about two weeks, with four daily pump-overs.
Aging for 14 months in barrels (33% new French oak, 34% one-year-old French and American oak, and 33% two-year-old French and American oak). It then continued aging in the bottle for 12 months.
Protos Crianza is ideal to accompany poultry dishes, game meats, hearty stews, rice and pasta dishes, or cold cuts.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 16ºC.
