Cillar de Silos presents the Red Wine Flor de Silos from the designation of origin Ribera del Duero (Spain). It is made from the 100% Tempranillo grape variety.
The red wine Flor de Silos is a Spanish wine from the Ribera del Duero region, produced by the Hermanos Pérez Pascuas winery. This wine is characterized by its intense red color and aromatic notes of ripe red and black fruits, spices, and wood.
Produced with Tempranillo grapes from vineyards located at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level, Flor de Silos benefits from the ideal climatic conditions of the region. The cold and dry winters and hot and dry summers provide a perfect environment for grape cultivation, which is reflected in the quality of the wine.
The production process begins with the manual selection of grapes, followed by maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks for approximately 21 days. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months to acquire its complexity and elegance.
Flor de Silos is a balanced and harmonious wine with good acidity and soft tannins. It is ideal to pair with red meats and aged cheeses, and it is recommended to serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
This wine has received numerous awards and recognitions, including a score of 92 points in the Peñín Guide and a gold medal at the World Brussels Competition. It has also been praised for its excellent value for money.
