If you are a lover of wine with character, structure, and authenticity, buying Montevannos 33 Líneos Red Wine is a choice that will not disappoint you. This label represents a careful selection of plots that reflect the best of the winemaking tradition of the Ribera del Duero.
The wine is made with a blend of Tempranillo (95%) and Merlot (5%), selected from 33 lines of the payments “La Marquesa”, “La Travesaña”, and “La Marota”, located in Quintana del Pidio, and from the payment Valdepalacios in Anguix, where the Merlot comes from. These vineyards are located at altitudes between 820 and 845 meters above sea level, in soils where pebbles and sandy-loam soil predominate, ideal conditions for the balanced development of the vine.
The vines are between 20 and 40 years old, guaranteeing varietal maturity and exceptional quality. During the season, optimal weather conditions were recorded, with normal temperatures for the area, absence of rain since early September, and strong thermal contrasts between day and night, allowing for a slow maturation and a calm harvest, with healthy grapes in optimal condition for winemaking.
The aging process took place for 16 months in French oak barrels (75%) and American oak barrels (25%), combining new barrels, second, and third year barrels, which provides the wine with a perfect balance between fruit, wood, and complexity.
On the nose, the Montevannos 33 Líneos Red Wine presents deep notes of ripe black fruit, sweet spices, cocoa, and an elegant mineral background. On the palate, it is structured, with silky tannins, excellent acidity, and a long finish that invites you to keep enjoying it.
Ideal to pair with red meats, game dishes, aged cheeses, and traditional stews, this wine is designed for those who value authenticity in every glass.
Don't think twice: if you are looking to buy long-aged red wine with a strong personality, Montevannos 33 Líneos is your best option. Still unsure? Contact our online sommelier and receive personalized advice without commitment.
