La Roca de l'Abellar is an exceptional red wine from the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOQ) Priorat in Spain, a region renowned for its high-quality viticulture. This wine pays homage to the Garnacha Negra grape variety, grown in a unique plot in Porrera, where sandy and slate soils allow grapes to fully express the essence of the terroir. The harvest of Garnacha is done manually, ensuring the selection of the best grapes to preserve the wine's quality. The winemaking process is meticulous, beginning with spontaneous fermentation in small containers. Continuous maceration allows the compounds from the grapes to integrate fully. The must is then pressed and aged in terracotta amphorae for fourteen months, offering unique complexity in every sip.
