The White Wine Castelo de Medina Verdejo comes from the prestigious Denomination of Origin Rueda in Spain. This wine is made from 100% Verdejo grapes, grown in vineyards located in Villaverde de Medina, Valladolid. The vineyards cover an area of 100 hectares and have clay-loam-sandy soils ideal for viticulture. Winemaker Sara Román de la Calle oversees a vinification process that begins with a night harvest and mechanical gathering, followed by controlled fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine is rounded off with 2 months of bottle aging. Visually, it presents a pale yellow color with greenish tones. On the nose, aromas of grass, apple, and fennel stand out, while on the palate it is powerful, fresh, and balanced.
