The Special Cuvee Frontonio Garnacha Red Wine from Bodegas Frontonio presents this Castilla y León Designation of Origin (Spain), created from the Garnacha Tinta grape varieties.
This project, started in a humble garage in Épila (Aragon) by Fernando Mora, Mario López, and Francisco Latasa, is named in honor of the town's saint. Legend has it that when the saint was beheaded by the Romans and his head was thrown downstream, miraculously the same head appeared at the top of the river. Against the current, just like the microvinifications of this small winery that come from century-old vines. As a result, a very limited production is achieved with great potential and increasing demand.
