The Red Wine La Última Pieza Malbec Barrel Selection is an exceptional expression of Argentine Malbec, made from a careful selection of the best five barrels of the entire vintage. Coming from the prestigious Paraje Altamira, in the Valle de Uco (Mendoza), this wine is born in calcareous and alluvial soils that provide a marked mineral identity and an elegant and deep structure.
Made with 100% Malbec grapes, harvested manually to guarantee quality from the vineyard, its fermentation process takes place in cement tanks and is then aged for 24 months in French oak barrels of first, second and third use. In addition, it undergoes bottle aging for 6 months before being released to the market, refining its character and complexity.
The intervention of renowned winemaker Felipe Stahlschmidt results in a high-end wine, with intense notes of black fruits, violets, and spices, silky tannins, and a long and persistent finish.
With a balanced alcohol content and perfectly integrated acidity, La Última Pieza Malbec is a wine for aging, ideal for those who want to buy Argentine Malbec wine with personality, elegance, and a unique origin.
Perfect for special occasions or to accompany red meats, barbecues, and aged cheeses, this wine represents a true oenological gem that elevates the prestige of Argentinian wines internationally.
