OLOROSO Upon the death of Mr. Antonio Barbadillo Ambrossy in 1921, in his will appear some wines called "grandfather's", in reference to his grandfather Benigno Barbadillo Hortigüela, founder in 1821 of Barbadillo. These wines, which passed from grandfather to grandson and from grandson to the sixth generation, untouched, have therefore been aged for more than one hundred and fifty years, and are our Oloroso wine with a dark mahogany color, clean and with golden amber reflections. Among its sparkles flow the pleasant and intense aromas of noble woods and nuts that gives us the intensity of its presence: old age and full-bodied, not to be forgotten.
