Rioja Bordón Crianza, from Bodegas Franco-Españolas, is a classic crianza, with its unmistakable signature and where we could highlight the joyful blend of tempranillo and garnacha.
Bodegas Franco Españolas, located in Logroño, is one of the historical wineries of the D.O.Ca Rioja.
Rioja Bordón Crianza is made with the Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta grape varieties. After selecting the fruit for Rioja Bordón Crianza, the elaboration process involves destemming the clusters and gently crushing the berries. After alcoholic fermentation and completed malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in American white oak barrels (Ohio) with medium toasting.
The wine remains in barrels for 12 months, and its aging is interrupted every six months to carry out the traditional barrel-to-barrel racking.
Rioja Bordón Crianza is ideal to accompany legumes, white and grilled meats, sheep cheese, pasta, and fried foods in general.
