There are two distinct seasons, the autumn/winter custard apple season, which runs from September to January, and the spring custard apple season which runs from February to April/May, all are produced on the Tropical Coast of Andalusia. It is possible to have two different seasons thanks to the pruning process of the fruit trees in the cooler and higher altitude areas of the Costa Tropical of Granada
