In all cultures, there are symbols that embody the culture, traditions, and spirit of the people, and this is what this tequila does at the Rio de Plata Distillery. Made with traditional practices and passion, this tequila is a traditional Mexican tequila that is infused with its origins.
The story of this Herencia de Plata Blanco tequila began in 1943, when Don César García, a Spanish man, founded his distillery in Mexico. They were so successful that by 1957, they were already exporting to countries in the Americas and to the United States as well.
In 1975, they decided to install a Fried Krupp Mill, which was a well-known German brand for its quality. Today, this is the oldest mill of this brand that exists, providing an original tequila that stays true to its roots and traditional to the people.
The dedication, passion, and experience have provided the Rio de Plata Distillery with a high-quality product that has won national and international awards. They have won awards such as the gold "Agave Spirits Awards Europe" multiple times. Additionally, they have won gold awards from "Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles" and the "China Wine and Spirits Awards."
