Production and aging

Torre de Oña Reserva 2014 is produced in Páganos, next to Laguardia, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. The soil produces very aromatic grapes, with high complexity and small grains. The harvest is carried out from the second week of October so that the grapes have high maturity and gain in aromas.

Tasting notes of Torre de Oña Reserva 2014

• Appearance: Torre de Oña Reserva has a clean and bright ruby color with intense pinkish rim.
• Nose: Aromas of black forest fruits, blackberries, blueberries on a background of incense, cedar oil, ground coffee, licorice, black pepper, mint, and aniseed.
• Palate: Powerful, fresh, and with very good structure. Aging in Caucasian oak barrels provides smoothness and complexity. Long finish.

Pairing

Torre de Oña Reserva is ideal to accompany all kinds of meats, semi-cured cheeses, and cured meats.

It is recommended to decant before consuming and serve at a temperature between 17º and 18ºC.
