Elaboration and aging

Valdesil is a white wine made from Godello grapes in Villamartín de Valdeorras (Ourense), in the Valdeorras Designation of Origin.

Valdesil is an elegant expression of the Godello variety, where aging on lees offers a white wine with power, personality, and a long life in the bottle.

Made from a selection of vineyards on slate slopes located in Vilamartín de Valdeorras, where the appropriate altitude and latitude allow for complete ripening of the variety.

Aged on lees.

Tasting Note of Valdesil

• Appearance: Valdesil has a characteristic straw yellow color with greenish reflections.
• Nose: Complex white wine, with notes of fine lees and minerals, pleasant citrus characteristics.
• Palate: Perfect smoothness, well balanced with acidity.

Pairing

Valdesil is ideal to pair with white meats, all kinds of grilled or baked fish and seafood, and even with foie dishes.

It is recommended to consume this white wine at a temperature between 8 and 10ºC.
