Viña Albina Reserva is a red wine from the Rioja Designation of Origin, produced by Bodegas Riojanas.
Bodegas Riojanas treasures more than a century of winemaking tradition in its cellar in Cenicero. Its corners are steeped in history and speak of the passion that has been lived there for the aging of its wines.
Viña Albina Reserva is made from the varieties Tempranillo (80%), Mazuelo (15%), and Graciano (5%). The grapes come from vineyards in Cenicero, Sonsierra, and Villalba de Rioja. As for the production process, traditional winemaking is carried out. The grapes are selected, destemmed, and crushed for maceration and fermentation with temperature control.
After this process, Viña Albina Reserva ages for 24 to 30 months in American oak barrels, with rackings when necessary. It rests in the bottle for 12 months before being released to the market.
Viña Albina Reserva is ideal for accompanying red meats, vegetables, stews, mushrooms, fish in sauce, and aged cheeses. It is recommended to decant before consuming and serve at a temperature between 16 and 18°C.
