It is a wine of reference of Ribera del Duero, with post-fermentation maceration of 2 to 3 weeks. Aged 12 months in French and American oak Bordeaux barrels and after maturing in bottle until 24 months of ageing.
Very well valued, with 89 points in the wine Advocak 2011 by Robert Parker; 90 points in the guide ABC of the wine 2012 and 93 points in the guide Repsol 2011.
Viña Mayor Crianza is cherry colour with purple and shiny hues.
It has an aroma of ripe black fruits, with spices and mineral notes, well integrated.
In the mouth it is tasty, structured and with body, with volume and long taste in mouth.
