Viña pomal 106 Barrels reserve is a red wine D.O. C Rioja MADE by Bodegas Bilbaínas. This limited edition is a tribute to the birth of Viña Pomal in 1908 elaborated by a selection of 106 barrels by the winemaker of the Diego Pinilla Winery. Fermentation with native yeasts. 28 º C-30 º C and a total maceration of 25 days.
It is bred for 20 months in American oak casks (84%) and French oak (16%). A third of the barrels are new. After passing through casks, the wine remains two years in the bottle before it is released.
Viña pomal 106 Barrels reserve is cherry colour with garnet edging of medium-high intensity.
Complex, intense, deep nose. Notes of liquorice and black fruits, violets and spices. Mineral background with notes of chocolate and fine wood.
On the palate it is powerful and tasty. Balanced and well-structured.
