Vincent Grall Sancerre Blanc Cuvee Tradition is a white wine of Guarda that bears the name of a single plot located in the hills of the south of Sancerre. A wine that will need a bottle to reach its fullness. Definitely a wine that reflects the personality and Terroir of Sancerre.
Vincent Grall is a small wine producer in Sancerre (owner and Vine grower) that cultivates 3.8 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc in Sancerre in the hills of the A.O.C. (Appellation d'origine Contrôlée).
Born in a family of wine producers in Sancerre, he learned from a young age with his uncle all the secrets of this vineyard, before he could create his own wine and winery more than 20 years ago. The production of Vincent Grall is very limited and unique (because of its way of elaboration and by the size of its vineyard) and which is always in continuous evolution.
Its philosophy is based on the lower intervention in the vineyard, always using organic fertilizers, regular works of the Earth, allowing the grass to grow naturally between the lines of the vines and with late prunings that respect the nature and are Essential to keep the vineyard healthy.
At the same time, a strict restriction of vineyard performance, based on low yields per plant, makes it possible to have the best grapes with the highest quality.
Vicent grall Sancerre Blanc is green straw-coloured, clean and shiny. In the nose it is aromatic where aromas of citrus fruits (grapefruit) and mineral tips are appreciated. In the mouth it is frank, balanced and tasty with memories of citrus fruit that make it very fresh. In the retronasal pathway, citrus notes and white flowers and light balsamic notes appear again. A wine that honors the Sancerre tradition.
