Red Wine Piedra Reserva: It is a wine of Bodegas Estancia Piedra, made with 75% of red bull grapes and 25% Grenache from the vineyards of the estates Paraje Estancia Piedra (1968).
The grape harvest is done manually, in boxes of 20kg, during the second half of September, when the grapes arrive at the winery is placed on the selection tables for strict quality control.
The Piedra Reserva red wine undergoes an 8-day fermentation in 15,000-liter stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature (maximum 25ºC) with frequent pumping over, followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels and aging for 18 months: 85% French oak and 15% American oak. The Piedra Reserva red wine is aged in the bottle for a minimum of 36 months. A very light filtration is carried out during bottling.
The Piedra Reserva wine is a wine especially recommended to accompany red meats and game stews.
