Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban is a single malt whisky made in Scotland.
The Glenmorangie distillery, located near the Scottish town of Tain, in the Scottish Highlands, consists of old buildings dating back to 1843 that house the aging warehouses.
Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban has spent 10 years maturing in American white oak barrels before being transferred to specially selected ruby port pipes from the Quintas or cellars of Portugal. The extra maturation in these port pipes develops in Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban a voluptuous spirit with a complex balance of sweet and dry flavors, and an interesting contrast of smooth and crisp cooling textures.
It is not chill-filtered for additional aroma and flavor.
Appearance: Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban has a golden color with pink hues.
Nose: Dark chocolate mint, mandarins and Seville oranges blend with sandalwood and walnut wood before giving way to a spicy finish of pepper and nutmeg.
Palate: Long-lasting finish, silky aftertaste, leaving notes of dark chocolate mints and traces of orange.
Quinta Ruban is recommended to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
