Glenmorangie is one of the most respected whisky distilleries in Scotland and, by extension, in the world. The distillery is located near the Scottish town of Tain, in the Scottish Highlands.
Glenmorangie The Original comes from a distillery located in the town of Tain in Ross-shire county, and it distills its whisky in Scotland's tallest stills. They use slightly peated malt and their own yeast production. It is a 10-year-old single malt whisky matured in selected bourbon barrels.
Appearance: Glenmorangie The Original has a pale lemon gold color.
Nose: Fragrance of citrus and ripe peaches accentuated by the aroma of vanilla. Medium-bodied, leaning towards light, creamy.
Palate: Initial flavors of vanilla that give way to an explosion of fruits. Finish with hints of orange peel and peach.
