Whisky Laphroaig Quarker Cask
This whisky is inspired by the small barrels that were frequently used for whisky in Scotland during the 19th century, often transported through the glens with pack horses.
The aging of the Whisky Laphroaig Quarker Cask takes place for approximately five years in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in smaller barrels (quarter cask) for several months, so it does not require as long a maturation, leaving sweet and smooth notes and a velvety sensation when first tasted, although soon the intense smoky notes so exclusive to Laphroaig come through.
