Beronia Viura White Wine
Bodegas Beronia was founded in 1973 by a group of entrepreneurs, friends among themselves, in 1982 it became part of the “González Byass Winery Family”. Today, Beronia is a Spanish winery of reference both nationally and internationally, producing its wines in the purest and most traditional La Rioja style with its “own personality” and “Beronia style”.
González Byass Wineries was founded in 1835, currently owning 1,844 hectares of vineyards spread throughout Spain, and their wine production satisfies national and international tastes.
Bodegas Beronia is located in Ollauri in the heart of Rioja Alta. In this area, we find different microclimates depending on the orientation of the vineyard and protection against the winds from the Ebro Valley.
The Beronia Viura White Wine is made from 100% Viura grapes, with a Rioja Designation of Origin (D.O.).
The average age of Beronia's vineyards is 30 years, with predominance of clay-limestone soils in the area.
Viura is the main white grape variety cultivated in La Rioja, allowing the production of fruity wines with floral aromas and a notable level of acidity, making it ideal for both young and aged white wines.
For the production of Beronia Viura White Wine, a cold maceration of the must in contact with the skins is carried out to extract the maximum primary aromas from the variety, followed by alcoholic fermentation for fifteen days.
