Bodegas y Viñedos Labastida, presents us with the Semi-sweet White Wine from Solagüen of the Rioja Designation of Origin (Spain), made from the grape varieties Viura, Tempranillo Blanco.
These are vines of Viura and Tempranillo Blanco trained in bush form, with an average age of over 70 years located at an altitude of 500 meters.
After destemming and crushing the grapes, they are placed in tanks at low temperature and a maceration with the skins is carried out for 24 hours to obtain the aromatic compounds from the skins. Then the juice is separated by gravity and decanted, ready to ferment at 12ºC until reaching the appropriate alcohol content, at which point the fermentation is stopped by cold application. This results in a wine with low alcohol content and high residual sugar.
