The doughnut that we call Xeitosa, is the traditional doughnut par excellence. The time of its birth is not well known, it already appeared in the first Galician pilgrimages. Thus it was consolidated as the typical and indispensable dessert of any self-respecting party. It differs from the doughnut that we call "Small" by its size and the presence of egg in its composition.
It is a doughnut in the shape of a doughnut
It is a doughnut which highlights its whitish color thanks to the syrup bath that melts in the mouth providing juiciness in contrast to the crunchy interior. It can be enjoyed with a good wine, although it can also be eaten alone. Our recipe is faithful to tradition, giving it a touch of modernism, which is why it is so highly valued
