Abadía Retuerta Pago Garduña is a D.O.P. Abadía Retuerta red wine made exclusively from the Syrah variety. The vines are cultivated in a sunny, white limestone soil in a valley surrounded by pines, protecting them from winds, allowing the grapes to reach maturity and sugar concentration for a high-quality wine. The tasting note reveals an intense color and a spicy, floral bouquet. On the nose, it presents a burst of red fruit. The wine aged for 19 months in new French barrels, adding balsamic and toasted notes, and on the palate, it is soft, elegant, expressive, and powerful, with notable persistence and balance.
