Abadía Retuerta Pago Valdebellón is a red wine D.O.P. Abadía Retuerta made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from a calcareous terroir that benefits from a particular microclimate. After complete maceration, it has rested in new French oak barrels for more than a year and a half.
Appearance: Deep cherry red color with violet reflections, high and bright layer.
Nose: Intense and sophisticated aromas with notes of black fruits (cassis, blackberry, blueberries), spices (black pepper, cloves), aromatic herbs and mineral and balsamic touches. Its aging in barrels provides nuances of cocoa, tobacco and cedar.
Palate: Powerful, structured and elegant, with firm but well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity and a long and persistent finish with hints of liquorice, graphite and roasted coffee.
