The Abaris Blanco Fermentado en Barrica is a white wine from the Denominación de Origen Calificada (D.O.Ca.) Rioja, produced by Bodegas Abeica, a family winery with five generations dedicated to growing grapes in Ábalos, La Rioja.
This single-varietal wine is made up of 100% Viura grapes, from the Santa Ana plot, an old vineyard located at about 600 meters above sea level in Ábalos.
Appearance: Straw yellow color, clean and bright.
Nose: Elegant and complex aromas of green apple, pear and grapefruit, along with nuances of white flowers and a subtle toasted wood.
Taste: Smooth and pleasant entry, maintaining a great harmony and freshness that reveals volume, minerality and a complex fruity flavor. The finish is long and refreshing.
