Alain Graillot Tandem is a Meknes-Fes red wine made from a selection of Syrah.

Alain Graillot Tandem is a Meknes-Fes (Morocco) red wine made from a selection of Syrah. Harvested by hand and subsequently vinified, the grapes were macerated for a short period of time in stainless steel tanks. 60% of the cuvée is aged in 225-litre French oak barrels.

Alain Graillot, a renowned wine producer in Crozes-Hermitage, ventured into the world of cycling and, thanks to his passion, discovered the Ouleb Thaleb winery, the oldest in Morocco, established in 1923. In this vineyard, Graillot identified the optimal conditions for growing the syrah variety, sheltered by the Atlas Mountains, where the sea breezes that arrive every evening generate a marked temperature range between day and night. The wine is characterised by its rich presence of black fruits, spices and fresh herbal notes. On the palate, it is balanced, with firm tannins and a remarkable spicy expression. It is a wine that gives immediate pleasure and is a surprising experience for those who have not had the opportunity to taste a wine from Morocco.

Alain Graillot Tandem Tasting Notes

Appearance: Bigarreau cherry red colour.
Nose: Ripe Syrah, with lots of fruit and pepper, concentrated, with an enormous weight of ripe but supple fruit.
Palate: Tasty and simple, satisfyingly balanced and easy to drink, with a very fresh finish.
