Parvus Chardonnay 2024 is a distinctive white wine from the Denomination of Origin Alella, sourced from the renowned Alta Alella winery located in Tiana, Barcelona. This wine is 100% Chardonnay, made from grapes that grow in soils known as 'sauló', characterized by their sandy-loam composition, contributing to the uniqueness of its flavor profile. The grapes undergo a skin maceration process, emphasizing aromatic extraction. The flower must then ferments in new French oak barrels from Allier at low temperatures, preserving the fruity aromas of the variety. Parvus Chardonnay also undergoes a brief aging of 3 months in the same barrels, further enriching its flavor. This wine presents a golden-yellow color and a bright appearance, revealing fruity notes alongside aging nuances, such as hints of coconut and vanilla. On the palate, it is creamy and rich, balanced and with a long pleasant finish, making it an ideal match for seafood, fish, and light dishes.
