The Viña Mayor Verdejo 2024 is a white wine that stands out for its exclusive production using Verdejo variety grapes from the recognized Rueda designation of origin. The grape selection takes place in the Caserío de Dueñas vineyard, where a night harvest is carried out to ensure that the grapes reach their optimal aromatic ripeness. Its vinification process includes gentle pressing followed by static racking through cold. This wine is slowly fermented in stainless steel tanks, maintaining controlled temperatures between 16º and 18ºC, in an environment protected from oxidation. After alcoholic fermentation, Viña Mayor Verdejo rests on fine lees for a period of two months, enhancing its aromatic expression. In tasting, it presents a pale yellow color with brilliant greenish reflections. Its nose reveals freshness and citrus and tropical notes, including pineapple, as well as aromas of fennel and anise, alongside sweetness reminiscent of pastry. On the palate, it is balanced, flavorful, and fresh, with a very fruity aftertaste and adequate acidity that provides support and structure.
