Viña Mayor Verdejo 2025 is an exquisite white wine that perfectly represents the Rueda denomination of origin. Made entirely from Verdejo grapes, this wine is created from a careful selection of the harvest in the Caserío de Dueñas vineyard, where the grapes are hand-picked at night to ensure they are collected at their optimal aromatic ripeness. Its production includes gentle pressing and static cold clarification, followed by slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This process takes place at low temperatures, between 16º and 18ºC, ensuring protection from oxygen. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine rests on fine lees in the tank for two months, contributing to its complexity and flavor. At first glance, Viña Mayor Verdejo impresses with its pale yellow color and bright greenish reflections. On the nose, this wine offers fresh and varietal aromas, with a predominance of citrus and tropical notes like pineapple, accompanied by hints of fennel and anise. On the palate, its balance and freshness, along with a very fruity aftertaste, make it a tasty and easy-to-enjoy wine; its adequate acidity provides the necessary support and structure to accompany fish dishes, seafood, and salads.
