Veuve Clicquot Rosé is made using a blend of between 50 and 60 base wines, mostly from vineyards classified as "Grands Cru". To ensure consistent quality year after year, between 25% and 35% of reserve wines are incorporated into the current vintage. This champagne incorporates a carefully selected variety of red grapes, adding both fruit and elegance to the final rosé. On tasting, it presents an overall impression of elegance, supported by a delicately colored acidity with subtle flavors including white elderflower, spiced plum, sponge cake, pink grapefruit peel, and a smoky mineral note at the end. This sparkling wine is ideal for enjoying in its current splendor and is recommended to be enjoyed until 2017.
