Azpilicueta Reserva is a red wine of the denomination of Origin Rioja elaborated by Bodega Azpilicueta. Made with Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo grapes.
Each year the Bodega Azpilicueta team selects the plots that it considers most suitable for the elaboration of the Azpilicueta wines.
After the harvest, the grains of Azpilicueta Reserva pass in the first place by the corresponding vinification processes, which extend for about thirty days and are made between the 28th and the 30 º of temperature.
Azpilicueta Reserva performs a 16 month ageing in French and American oak barrels before finishing to tune for 20 months more in bottle.
Azpilicueta Reserva has an intense ruby red color with tile reflections. The nose has subtle aromas of vanilla and quince. On the palate it is soft, silky and of pleasant persistence.
