Biscardo Ripasso Valpolicella Superiore is a red wine recognized for its exceptional quality and its origin from the prestigious Valpolicella DOC. This wine is produced by the Biscardo winery, carefully utilizing Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, and Corvinone grape varieties, which are fundamental in crafting the best wines of Verona. The vineyards are situated on gentle hills of the region at altitudes ranging from 150 to 250 meters above sea level, contributing to the quality of the grapes. The harvest is conducted manually, ensuring the selection of the best grapes at their optimal maturity. Once in the winery, the grapes are sorted and undergo a controlled fermentation process in small oak barrels. A distinctive aspect of this wine is the subsequent contact with the skins of Amarone grapes, enhancing its structure and enriching its aroma and flavor profile. After this process, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 months, achieving a perfect balance between power and subtlety.
