Carabibas VS is a red wine from the renowned Bodega Sierra de Cabreras, located in Salina. This wine comes from a careful blend of grapes of varieties such as cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and monastrell, each contributing to its unique character. The most notable vintage was 2011, which received an impressive rating of 92 points from Robert Parker, highlighting its exceptional quality. The vineyards are situated on calcareous soils that ensure excellent permeability and drainage, creating an ideal environment for grape cultivation. To ensure the quality of the harvest, careful viticultural practices are applied, limiting production to no more than six kilograms of grapes per plant. Vinification includes winter pruning and thinning to maintain optimal yield. The aging of Carabibas VS takes place in fine-grained French oak barrels, providing balance and aromatic complexity.
