Ukan 2021 is a wine from the Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja, made with 100% Tempranillo grapes at Ukan Winery. This wine ferments in ten oak vats, four of which were used for bunches without destemming, a process that contributes to its complexity. Its seventeen months of aging in barrels have developed an elegant and balanced wine, with a fresh and expressive character reflecting the weather conditions of its vintage. The rains in September 2020 delayed the harvest to October, adding special maturity to the grapes.
