Coto Mayor Reserva 2020 is a red wine from the D.O.Ca. Rioja, produced by the El Coto De Rioja winery, established in 1976. With the largest vineyard in the entire D.O.Ca. Rioja, located at the Los Almendros estate, the winery has vineyards scattered across all sub-regions of this Denomination. Coto Mayor Reserva is made from the Tempranillo variety, using old vines that are well-oriented and located at an ideal altitude to ensure long hours of sunlight, contributing to its optimal ripening. The aging of this wine is a minimum of 18 months in American oak barrels, followed by a refinement in the bottle of at least another 18 months. This meticulous process results in a wine that reflects the typicity of the La Rioja region, ideal for pairing with fine meals or enjoying on its own.
