Cava Laieta Brut Nature Rosé Gran Reserva is a cava produced by Alta Alella with Mataró (Monastrell).
This cava is made from organic grapes. The personality of Alta Alella cavas is reinforced in this cava by the use of its most genuine variety, Mataró. After a cold maceration for 10 hours to obtain the characteristic pink colour, the grapes are lightly pressed to obtain the free-run juice, which begins fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15ºC in stainless steel tanks.
The Gran Reserva cavas are aged for a minimum of 30 months; some collection cavas are aged for up to 10 years. All the grapes are organic, and all the bottles are sold freshly disgorged. A passion for cava that has been awarded multiple international prizes.
Sight - Colour varies according to the vintage, from strawberry to brick-red tones.
Nose - Aromas of violets and red fruits, typical of the Mataró variety with an undertone of almonds, the result of long ageing in the bottle.
Palate - Fine bubbles with a fine passage through the mouth, recalling the aromas of red fruits and the aromas from long ageing in the bottle. Marked minerality and salinity. Very tasty and persistent.
