Chaveo is a red wine that presents itself as an authentic expression of the Monastrell grape, grown in the Protected Designation of Origin Bullas, in the heart of Spain. This wine is a product of the care taken by Bodega Monastrell, which is dedicated to 100% organic production, ensuring that each bottle reflects respect for nature and viticultural tradition. The grapes are carefully selected from plots located in the beautiful Valle del Aceniche, a region recognized for its scenic and ecological value, and benefiting from a unique microclimate that favors the cultivation of high-quality wines. Chaveo, made from selected grapes, has aged for 11 months in new French oak barrels, giving the wine complexity and character. In terms of sensory evaluation, Chaveo presents a bright red color of medium/high intensity that attracts the eye. On the nose, it unfolds a medium/high aromatic intensity, with a mix of fresh red fruits, aromatic herbs, and subtle menthol notes, complemented by tertiary aromas that evoke toffee, menthol, and a range of spices.
