Cosme Palacio Crianza 2019 Magnum is a wine that reflects the tradition and innovation of the Cosme Palacio winery in Rioja Alavesa. This wine, made from selected Tempranillo grapes, exemplifies the winemaking excellence of the region. Grapes grown at over 600 meters elevation contribute exceptional freshness and acidity due to their unique clay-calcareous soil. The vinification includes cold prefermentative maceration and malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, followed by 12 months of aging. This meticulous process results in a balanced and complex wine, with notes of ripe red fruit, licorice, and spicy hints from the wood. On the palate, it presents a velvety texture and a persistent finish that enhances its refined character. Ideal for pairing with red meats, lamb, game dishes, and aged cheeses.
