De Nariz Cava Corazón de Monastrell is an author-driven cava crafted by De Nariz that breaks with traditional cava styles by using Monastrell vinified as a white wine. It is a blanc de noirs with a strong Mediterranean personality, produced using the traditional method and conceived as a gastronomic sparkling wine that is complex and deep.

Cava Corazón de Monastrell is an unprecedented and deeply Mediterranean creation, born after five years of development and reflection on the potential of the Monastrell grape in its sparkling expression. From the 2020 vintage and crafted using the Traditional Method, this cava has rested for over 40 months on the lees, allowing the bubbles to integrate in an enveloping and elegant way, achieving a balance between maturity and freshness.

This sparkling wine, with a limited production of fewer than 3,000 bottles, represents a historic milestone, as the dosage liqueur is made for the first time from a blend of Fondillón from three historic vintages (1964, 1971 and 1973). Fondillón, regarded during the Renaissance as the “Wine of Kings”, is unique in the world for its long oxidative ageing and its deep connection with the passage of time.
