El Paraguas Atlántico is a wine from the Ribeiro DO that combines the native Galician grapes treixadura (85%), godello (8%) and albariño (7%), produced by Bodegas El Paraguas. The grapes were aged for three months in 600-litre French oak barrels. The vineyards are located in sandy soils with a granitic base. The mild Atlantic climate with continental influence provides ideal conditions for growing grapes.
The winemaking process of El Paraguas Atlántico 2021 is carefully carried out. Each variety from each vineyard is vinified separately, either in stainless steel tanks or in French oak barrels. State-of-the-art technology is used in the vinification process to guarantee the maximum quality of the clusters, while respecting Bodegas El Paraguas' minimal intervention, especially in older vineyards.
The wine has a lemon yellow colour with straw and greenish reflections.
In the olfactory phase, the presence of treixadura stands out, exhibiting fruity notes such as pear and flowers such as mimosas.
On the palate, there is a broad structure and a markedly Atlantic character. The freshness is enhanced by the fruity character, and the finish is long, inviting you to repeat the experience.
