The Transistor is a white wine from the Rueda Denomination of Origin, created by the renowned winery Telmo Rodríguez. This wine stands as a benchmark within its range, known as the older brother of the famous Basa. It comes from Verdejo grapes cultivated in the El Monte area in La Seca, cared for in calcareous and gravelly soils, which give the wine unique characteristics. The fermentation and aging of The Transistor takes place in fudres and barrels of various sizes, as well as in concrete and stainless steel tanks, enriching its complexity. Its name, "The Transistor," refers to the ingenious method used to keep wild boars away from the vineyards at night. In the tasting, The Transistor reveals a bright straw-yellow color with sparkling nuances.
