Dolç de Mendoza is a natural sweet wine made from grapes of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Pinot Noir, all harvested from our vineyards located at Finca El Chaconero, in the area known as Cabezo de la Virgen, in Villena. The production of this wine only occurs in very special years, as it requires that the grapes be especially healthy and capable of withstanding overripening on the vine. Harvest takes place in the first week of December, ensuring that each bottle of Dolç de Mendoza offers maximum quality and sweetness.
This wine presents an attractive dark cherry red color, adorned with violet reflections and high density, evidencing its body. On the nose, abundant primary aromas of red berries, such as blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries, are perceived, accompanied by subtle smoky notes and spices like cinnamon and clove. On the palate, its high level of glycerin and residual sugar caress the mouth, while the smooth tannins and acidity balance the experience, creating a long aftertaste where smoky notes and toasted bread persist.
