This wine has been made with grapes from the Tempranillo and Graciano varieties, from the old vineyard that surrounds the Finca de Torrea, place where the facilities of the Bodegas de Marques de Riscal are currently located. The terrain is the classic Arcillocalcáreo soil of Rioja Alavesa which has historically provided the best qualitative results.
Finca Torrea is a cherry red color with violet hues that denote youth and very good evolution.
Intense and concentrated aroma of ripe black fruit (plum, blackberry and blueberry) that is combined with a lot of elegance with the tertiary aromas of its ageing in wood, providing balsamic notes of licorice and eucalyptus, a fine background of caramel and toffee, with a special finish and Mineral that confers a great aromatic complexity.
