Fuentenebro Tinto Fino is a red wine made exclusively from 100% Tinto Fino grapes in the renowned Ribera del Duero region. This wine comes from centuries-old vineyards located at over 900 meters altitude in the provinces of Soria and Burgos, where the climate exhibits extreme contrasts and the soils are shallow, directly underlain by limestone. The 2022 harvest was considered excellent, marked by good growth due to abundant rainfall. During the manually conducted harvest, each bunch is carefully destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks before being aged in several-use French oak barrels for 11 months. This process ensures a balanced wine rich in nuances. As for its tasting notes, Fuentenebro Tinto Fino presents itself as a very fruity wine, with hints of wild fruits like currants and sour strawberries. On the nose, menthol and cream notes are appreciated, creating a clean and fresh aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is flavorful and elegant, with good balance and acidity, while the wood manifests itself subtly, giving rise to soft tannins that make it even more appealing.
